Yet mass shooters of the 21st Century regularly blow away 2-3-4 times that many in a single afternoon, and we quickly forget who they were because we know another one will be coming along in a few months.

Sometimes, my only Solace is that…. the devil will always claim his own. ….. Nowadays I get a lot of satisfaction when I think of that little adage. I imagine the surprise on a terrorist’s face when he thinks he’s going to Paradise and his reward of 100 virgins, only to find out …..oops… the devil claimed him….. The same for Mass murderers…… Child abusers…… Big game Hunters….. People who leave their pets out in all the bad weather…… I think that Dante’s Inferno (that book that Aligheiri wrote about all the levels of hell for all the different sins) didn’t put in enough levels for all the levels of Cruelty that people commit to each other and to the other inhabitants of this world and to the world itself.
