We recently adopted a little Border Collie who apparently had not lived with alpha humans before. He’s as sweet as can be, but is always taken aback when he doesn’t run the show. He can get very like Jock, but he’s sweet about it, like Jock, so we’re patient with him as he learns. (He also craves close contact like lying on your feel or in your lap, when he can get it, and that goes a LONG way with the patience!)
