Pacman: a classic.

Tony’s Question for today, somewhat expectedly (which is, itself, unexpected… ) is…

“Do you?”

Of course I do, Tony!

Do you remember, when you were knee high to a … a….

well when you were knee high, anyway…

And Space Invaders shot endless bullets(?) at unending waves of aliens….

or even before that…

when we found it exciting enough to pay 25 cents to knock a dot back and forth across a line on the screen,

picturing it as a ball, a net, and a paddle…. playing Pong.

Both were played by adults, not kids, at first…

and the screens were set into little tables in bars.

Yeah, I’m old…

If we wanted such games as kids, we went to an arcade and played pinball.I hear pinball is actually making a comeback!!

We thought “bowling” with a metal puck was an electronic miracle.

Pinball!!! I have a Pinball game on this here computer!!! Still a lot of fun!!!
