This is what happens when immigrants who have become citizens know more about our country’s constitution and laws than native-born voters do. This is happen when congress stands idly by while a president violates his oath of office as they do theirs.
Strictly speaking, he’s not cancelling TPP; it was never voted on or signed.
And this is the single good thing he’s ever done. It would have turned out sovereignty over to multinational corporations who could sue us for the profits they claim to be denied by our regulations. And in a manner guaranteeing that we would lose.
We may witness a case of “unintended consequences” here, however. ‘Cancelling Puerto Rico’ is well within Donnie’s abilities – not-so-benign neglect will do the trick! However, the AMERICAN CITIZENS that will be forced out of P.R. will mostly move to Florida. Their memories of Donnie’s perfidy will likely prompt them to vote Democratic, turning Florida “Blue”! Florida is a ‘key’ “swing” state! We won’t need to bring P.R. into the Union, we’ll just have to bring the people of Puerto Rico into the union, which Donnie is attempting to do in a very real way, and in a way guaranteed to make them ALL life-long rabid Democrats! Proof (if we ever needed any!) that Donnie NEVER considers long-term consequences of ANY of his actions!
