Exactly how the men of the GOP feel about women. Didn’t Trump just tweet something similar to this? The more you pretend there is a difference, the more similar the GOP and the Saudis look.
This is about right. The new permission is less than it appears. Women still need their male caretaker’s permission to drive, and there are other restrictions as well. E.g, daytime only, only within a certain range from their home . . . .
Trump went to Saudi Arabia and said, “We are not here to lecture — we are not here to tell other people how to live, what to do, who to be, or how to worship. Instead, we are here to offer partnership — based on shared interests and values — to pursue a better future for us all.”
Then he sold them $110 billion dollars worth of weapons. #winning
