What do you expect from a guy named Thornapple?

I’m on Thornapple’s side — his boss isn’t exactly a daily ray of sunshine.

He keeps him around as an example of what not to do.

I’m sure you’re a constant downpour in Thornapple’s life, Veeblefester.

I wish Thornapple would get another job. I hate the skin flint!

Give Mr. Rain Maker a permanent vacation.

Give that man a raise.

The boss wouldn’t have a comic strip to be in if it wasn’t for “Thorny”….

The boss probably gets a cut from the Cartoonist by keeping the Born Loser.
