    Morning Vagabonds

Chilly this morning, temps mid to upper 30s. Yup, finally fall.

WOW! Las Vegas, what can I say?

On that sad point I’ll wish the best day possible and may God bless.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

We actually got a bunch of rain. Didn’t really measure on my handy dandy rain gauge, but everything got nice and wet. Supposedly we’re in for some snow later today. And, because the leaves are all still on the trees, we’re expecting lots of branches falling. Unfortunately I have a 2:30 doctor’s appointment and we’ll be out when it’s supposed to get nasty.

We went down to the airport yesterday to say goodbye to an old AF plane that served in the 50’s. It’s an EC-121, Constellation (Connie). It’s been at the airport for all the time we’ve lived here. The idea was they were going to restore her to flying status. Never happened. So, they disassembled her, loaded her and all her parts on 3 semi’s and left yesterday afternoon. She had a police escort of 6 of our Finest, and is on the way to Castle Air Museum near Merced, CA. It was exciting and sad at the same time. Here’s a link for the picture:

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

As I told David, today is my birthday. I’m only 3 years behind him. No real plans for the day. We’re not exactly in familiar territory.

Michael has to go back to work today. The good news is that the office he works for is in CA so his work day begins at 10 AM here in Texas.

One of our cats got out last night. Blaze has disappeared and since I saw a pack of feral dogs in our campsite at about 6:30 this morning, I fear the worst. He has been known to wander if he gets out, so he may just come sauntering back sometime this morning. I pray so.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
