“Some” create frivolous studies that justify the amount of grant money they’re given. Others that are doing vital research have to scrimp and save to make real changes.
The lure of the Almighty NSF funding has usurped Science. Funding only to the Politically Correct (regardless of what is politically correct at the time). As a scientist, the lack of truth in science saddens me.
