Same thing goes for speed dial on the phones. Seemed like I could not remember any of the phone numbers I used to know. Now, I specifically use just the numbers – no more speed dial. What happens when you are somewhere when you don’t have your phone or it runs out of battery time? I don’t ever want to be in that position!

Also, if we rely on “things” to remember stuff for us, we are losing our brain power. We all used to remember all those phone numbers, those song titles, etc., but now how many of us do that anymore?

This sounds like a conversation my husband and I have about actors in movies. We can’t remember any of the names of either and have to describe further and further away from the point until we give up and go to IMDB!
