I remember a time when I’d have the History Channel on 3-5 hours every evening, and 6-12 hours a day on weekends. Now I literally don’t remember how long since I’ve watched anything on it. All of the “reality” programs were bad enough, then they perfected the ability to make absolutely anything sound like a conspiracy program, and the final straw for me was the Ancient Aliens program. Nothing like a history-themed channel absolutely spitting in the eye of human accomplishment.
