“Anti-Fascist-ish Republicans!” Good one, Brian. LOOK like you are doing something progressive WITHOUT really doing anything progressive! After all, they don’t want to alienate their LARGEST voter base, now do they??

Bravo, Brian. (And the characters are drawn so I can look at them without feeling nauseous (your graphic style has simplified in a wonderful way)). Stick it to these hypocrites!

Reaganomics proved trickle-down does not work! Kansas proved trickle-down does not work! The only people who were helped by trickle down economics where the rich. If you think I’m kidding, take a look at how the middle class has suffered. It’s a much smaller base than it used to be. The most of the middleclass has become part of the poverty base. The poverty base has been divided into two classes. Those with jobs and those without… Those who live on the street and those who live in an apartment or a home of a relative. Trickle down economics was a laugh from the beginning for the rich who sat back and rubbed their hands waiting for the money to fall into them!

BRASS ORCHID, first of all the 1% should not have almost as much money as the US budget. Secondly, no one is looking to double the budget as you claim. Take money OUT of defense and re-allocate so that it makes sense. One missile that costs $800K is ridiculous. Building tanks that are shipped immediately to storage is stupid. To save money in healthcare pout caps on pharmaceuticals like other countries do; Medicare, Medicaid costs go down. Another savings can come from elimination of most subsidies. Why are fossil fuel companies still getting subsidized? Cotton crops should be replaced by hemp. Sugar subsidies and protections result in only 800 jobs.

.Money going to the lower incomes ends up being spent. Money going to the top results in them stashing it, often offshore. When tax rates were higher, execs invested in their company including training their employees to reduce their tax burden. They planned for several quarters for long-term health of the company rather than just looking at the next quarter and how they can fill their own pockets quickly.

Trump would love to bomb foreigners where ever there are no Trump hotels. The right loves bigotry against the poor, almost as much against race or sexual orientation. They tween and talk a good game, but continue to vote along party line. They create laws to target minorities, all while pretending they are doing it for the good of everyone.

But as long as a rural farmer doesn’t have to have a black president, the Reich wing will vote against their own interests.
