Something tells me that Jon used to play, “Dueling Banjos” (ref. a song from the movie Deliverance) when he was a child.

Hey ! What’s so funny about a banjo? I have a banjo……..( though we make banjo jokes about people from Saskatchewan….although that’s just a football thing…)

So what’s the problem?

For those who don’t know,

Last time Jon played a banjo, The nurse almost took out a tranqulizer gun, the dog that Liz examing went into shock.

It would be romantic if Jon actually knew how to play. Same with an accordion, which he can’t play either.

Maybe he should take up the Celtic harp. It’s almost impossible to make one sound bad, unless you pitch it down the stairs.

I like banjo music, but I would never consider it romantic, Jon. Play the radio.

Depends on how and what you play. I’ve heard songs played on banjo that are captivating - think Pete Seeger playing a gorgeous song by Gordon Lightfoot, like, “Beautiful”.

Garfield quick go break every last string on Jon’s banjo

Paddle faster, I still hear Jon’s banjo.

Maybe he’s learned a chord or two…. the real trick to playing the banjo is to not tangle your fingers in the strings…
