I had hoped the neoconservatism which started in the Democratic party and spread to the Republican party - Bush declaring that Iran was part of the “axis of evil” - was dying and we were going to stop meddling in the affairs of other countries. Apparently, that was a vain hope.
Iran buys weapons from Russia to support Russia’s ally, Assad in Syria. Russia uses Iran’s air bases to fly missions in Syria.
Connect the dots, people. Russia & Iran are just parts of the same problem of regimes that reject American values like democracy & transparency. Perhaps, I should say “former American values.”
Armed confrontation isn’t the answer, but Trump seems to be oblivious to Iran’s close ties to Russia.
BTW, the Trump administration just admitted that the Iranians are sticking to the terms of the nuclear agreement. Unlike North Korea, Iran is not going to be a nuclear threat for the foreseeable future.
Under Trump Iran has been able to develop their nuclear program. This is what the Republicans wanted, so they could say told you so. Next they will give us healthcare death panels to prove themselves right once again. The Russians are laughing at us because of the incompetent republican president.

The media will never see any issue with Iran until they can protect their little man-god obama and instead blame it on Trump.

As usual, didn’t get the word that reports, even from Republicans in the know, is that Iran is in compliance with the agreement.
