Personally, I say get rid of all the fencing. If we just loosen up our hard-hearted immigration laws, we wouldn’t need to be such creeps and waste so much money.
By design, all solar walls have to face south to be effective. The sun isn’t in the artic, it wanders around north and south of the equator. Also, to be effective, they have to be transparent on the southern side, making them easy to destroy— a good rain storm does damage, not to consider anyone with a rock. And, any drug dealer who throws 60 pounds of product without knowing exactly who is catching it and what they are paying for it isn’t going to be in business long enough to worry about him.
