No, CRIS.RAY, there’s no problem – but the republicans did this once before in the early 2000s. 43’s justice department conducted a multi-year investigation of voter fraud to ‘prove’ that America ‘needed’ voter ID to prevent fraud from happening – they found NOTHING! Which REALLY upset their operatives who were chomping at the bit to institute voter ID in the states to implement disenfranchisement policies. They decided to go ahead with voter ID laws, anyway, and just IGNORE any and all requests for proof. But their plan, this time, is to do the investigation and produce FAKE PROOF that it exists, since America has proven that it will believe ANYTHING if told enough times that something is true! The few that require real evidence can be safely ignored! So they have to do the investigation – they’ve already got the ‘results’ written up and ready to go!

Folks, we have to remember that this issue is a “red herring”, meant to steer our attention away from what is really happening in the hopes that either we won’t notice it, or we won’t notice it soon enough.

This is what the left hand is doing, and when the left hand is doing it, what’s the right hand doing?

And instead of focusing on one of the issues, we should be focusing on all the issues at the same time and find out what’s in the details.

The tweets are all about this, too…subterfuge.

I don’t understand why the voters aren’t willing to give up names, address, social security numbers and who they voted for? I’m sure the Trump administration would deal fairly with that information. Once they have all that information collected on one server, it would be in a nice package to hand over to Russia to help with the next election.

Why can’t they just use the spreadsheet of 200 million voters (with personal information) which their contractor recently left in the cloud without a password for 12 days.

HuffPost reports that the states are complying though they said they would not.

CRIS.RAY – there is the threat of identity theft, this would enable the Repubs to suppress voters that vote for Dems, and the GOP has already shown they can’t be trusted with this type of data since they left records of 200 million voters in the Cloud without a password (thanks for that last bit RAGS). Next time someone calls you asking for your Social ecurity number or bank account numbers, why don’t you just hand them over?
