From his photos, Jack Elam sometimes had his left eye closed, but many times it was at least partially open. Jim S.‘s depiction of him here DOES look freaky, however – almost like a character you’d see in a horror movie, to be honest. Maybe a ‘singular’ version of Jeepers Creepers, perhaps?
