There are some unions where, when someone is obviously wrong, the leaders WILL stand up and say, “This is not what we stand for.” Letter carrier officials are usually right on top of that list.Unfortunately, police union officials rarely, if ever, tell the public that one of their members was out of line. Their usual reasoning is, “We need to stand up for our members!” How about standing up for the public they are sworn to serve?
Our US election resulted in a president kicking us in the head while we are on fire. (The GOP mistakenly believed we had just got undeserved healthcare) The Republican congress had the best spin ever: Taking swift action isn’t always transparent, but GOP Healthcare clearly shows that the President has acted quickly to extinguish the flames, and pull our country out of harm’s way.
Trump (not a transparent politician) – stomping out programs for the poor.
