Fads are funny: some odd “thing” comes out of nowhere, and all of a sudden everyone HAS to have it…whether it’s hula hoops, yo-yos, pet rocks, snap bracelets, stacking cups, flipping water bottles, or fidget spinners… then the fad moves on, you wonder why you got caught up in it in the first place…I wonder what’s next…
That’s very passive aggressive of her. Sort of like your kid asking for a stuffed animal and you buying the very same stuffed animal for yourself (but not for her).
