Why do CONservatives need to go to places like Berkeley to spew their venom when there are many places more suitable, like Oral Roberts U, Liberty U, Regents U, Bob Jones U (good ol’ BJU) and other CONservative diploma mills?Why do these CONservatives need to go to colleges at all, when they have whole chunks of the “Mainstream Media” under their control?
So the young Democrats at Liberty can get an outside donor to slip them cash to schedule, (hmm, who would be really offensive to 95% of Liberty), say, Louis Farrakhan Sr for a speech, and THEN they tell the chancellor they want a venue on campus and it has to be that date.
Are you going to be all offended when the chancellor tells them they should follow proper channels, and that he doesn’t want Farrakhan speaking because there are certain to be protests?
Because that’s exactly what actually happened at Berkeley. And yes, the chancellor has caved, and he should not have. And this isn’t the first time the YR at Berkeley has pulled this stunt.
No school wants a repeat of Kent State, or even UC Davis. Not only do they wish to avoid deaths, they wish to avoid harm or outrages (as at Davis) to students who, even in state funded schools, represent income from parents and alumni.
But after the black hooded thugs (who are not students, by the way) trashed part of the campus earlier, when that creep from the right was supposed to speak, one could understand a reluctance by the administration to set up a similar situation. They did, however, reverse themselves. How they hope to avoid the thugs showing up again, I don’t know. These thugs do not believe in peaceful dissent.
They are, however, a minority even at demonstrations against right wing agitators. (And yes, that is what your right wing creeps are doing. They are agitating against the left. See the titles of Coulter’s books.)
Sure locke, you go grab a few individuals out of a crowd, when those people simply need only lose the mask in order to blend in. Show us your skills. Or maybe, just maybe, get the facts before mouthing off.
I do have to wonder what the CONmen here would be spewing if Coulter shows up and gets killed or injured.
What WILL you characters spew, after DEMANDING they bring her in to spill her bile?
Care to explain how you’ll spin this? Or will you just do as you usually do, and claim it was them liberals who wanted to keep her FROM causing a riot’s fault. Somehow, in some strange world where actions have consequences exactly 180 degrees reversed from logic.
So.. only conservatives have protection under the first amendment now. Poor conservative snow flakes, stealing the presidency and supreme court wasn’t enough. Those mean old liberals still get to talk and not attend your lectures. Maybe Trump can make a law to stop protesting. Maybe you can take to wearing red coats, seeing protesting is so unpatriotic to you.

I really prefer the British method of heckling speakers. It can be very effective and doesn’t involve violence.
