I have a digital scale, and discovered it LIES… if the weight is anything close to the previous weighing, even 10 minutes later, it displays the previous number. You can see it jump - get on, weigh 215.2 (I wish). Pick up one of my wife’s two-pound weights, get back on; display jumps around, begins to settle around 217… and then displays 215.2 again. Similar in the second direction (start with the weight and do a second weighing without). I assume the manufacturer did this to disguise the errors in the scale’s measurements…
But Larry would be a LONG time on my bathroom scale, waiting for the number to change!
