    He does know how this works, as we discuss whether Obama was wiretapping microwaves, Trump is cutting PBS, Meals On Wheels and the National Endowments for Arts and Humanities. The EPA is seeing a 31% reduction while we talk about Trump’s tweets.

    Interventor, yours is a pathetic defense of a mentally ill individual. You have no idea where poor pathetic trump got his information. Aides say he is glued to the tv to follow every mention of him. I’m not actually sure he can read. He certainly has the focus and concentration of a toddler. That is, until he imagines that someone has dissed him. Then his focus is sharp and unrelenting.

    I know you have a disdain for facts, so I’m not expecting a rational answer. However, you would do well to consult the DSM-V to really understand trump’s mental illness. You won’t do that, of course. You might discover the obvious about your hero—he’s a sociopathic narcissist with ADHD. Facts are stubborn things, as St Ronnie used to say. So are the mentally ill—stubborn, that is. True believers are always dangerous. Open your eyes. Look at the evidence. Don’t try to deflect by saying “…but, but, but, the democrats…” Or, “…but, but, but, Obama…” Or “…but, but, but, Hillary.” These are not the topic I’m suggesting. I’m suggesting you look at trump’s behavior and consult the DSM-V. If you find the vocabulary in the DSM-V challenging, you might try the Mayo Clinic website for a layman’s description. Got the stones for the truth? Well?

    Brass Orchid always writes such off-beat comments. His (her?) views are typically unconventional, for what it’s worth. Yeah, semantics matter. A lot. Semantics is the study of meaning in language. So, yeah, it makes a big difference to know what language means, don’t you think?

    If trump and company were inadvertently surveilled because they were associating with agents or suspected agents of a hostile foreign power, then what do you think was happening? The bigger question is James Comey. Why did he make such a big deal of investigating Hillary ‘s emails and not disclose the ongoing investigation into trump’s Russia connections?

    Brass and interventor…if you give aid and comfort to the enemies of the US by enlisting their help to defeat a presidential candidate they don’t like, what would you call that? If the US government, in its normal counterintelligence activities surveils our enemies and you are caught up in that surveillance while you were caught red-handed plotting to influence an American election, what would you call that? I think the word we’re looking for is treason, isn’t it?

    Well BO, the Director of the FBI in sworn testimony stated there is a criminal investigation. Surely he has ample reason for saying this, no? Consider:

    #1-Sessions & General Flynn lie under oath about Russian contacts (perjury—a felony);

    #2-28Jan17-A former spy chief suspected of helping Brit spook Christopher Steele compile the Trump ‘dirty dossier’ has been found dead in mysterious circumstances

    #3-US intelligence agencies confirm truth of elements contained in Russian dossier on Trump, The Business Insider, 2/10/17;

    #4-Trump staff Carter Page, Roger Stone had (nicely compensated) Russian ties as did son-in-law Kushner, and Trump’s attorney;

    #5-“The Curious World of Donald Trump’s Private Russian Connections,” The American Interest, 12/19/16;

    #6-“Was a Trump Server Communicating With Russia?”- Slate Magazine, 10/31/2016;

    #7-Putin ties to Exxon Chief Executive Rex Tillerson;

    #8-Wikileaks under Russians tutelage only published Democratic Party-hacked info to harm them during the election;

    #9-Russia paid fake news bloggers to release fake news stories critical of Clinton;

    #10-17 U.S. intelligence agencies report U.S. election hack;

    #11-Trump insults and threatens other countries and long-time U.S. supporters and allies but praises and defends Putin;

    #12-Wilber Ross’ Bank of Cypress ties to long-time Putin ally Viktor Vekselberg and former vice-chairman Vladimir Strzhalkovsky, also a former KGB agent with a close relationship to Putin.

    #13-Trump’s lawyer shows up at the White House with a Ukraine peace plan;

    #14-Trump campaign manager Manafort, paid $12+million to lobby for Russian-backed former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych—and then urges pro-Russian changes to the Republican platform.

    #15-Ivanka friend Wendy Deng (Rupert Murdoch ex) briefly dates Putin.
