Fewer dishes to clean, more dishes to sweep up AND to purchase in order to replace.

I have plastic dishes. Also I have a 3/4" mat on the floor by the sink.

I always hate it when the dish I dropped was just cleaned. Didn’t mind so much if it was dirty still. LOL

This reminds me of one Thanksgiving when I was washing dishes. These were specifically Corelle glass dishes. Someone had put a serving bowl on top of a platter that still had turkey juices on it. I picked up the bowl without noticing the platter was adhered to it until the platter fell.Have you ever seen Corelle shatter? It’s impressive. At least my grandmother took it all in stride.

How does a family of four amass as many dishes as there are on that sink in one meal?
