Yes, of course we want our presidents to act like Roman emperors. How about Caligula? What a great role model. Caligula was also mentally ill, of course. He’s the one who made his horse the leader of the Roman senate because the senators displeased him.

My goodness, talk about dystopian fantasies. I don’t want to live as if we were subjects of an emperor. Principle over politics will motivate the patriots in public service. Fear will restrain many, but unlike “John” here, there will be patriots like Sally Yates who will stand up for what’s really important—not caving to an autocratic “emperor.”

Had the trump drained the swamp as he said he would..those leaks would be manageable.

before you moved into the white house, you should have tried to understand constitutional laws, our system of checks and balances and tried to work out your conflicts of interests. The Republicans want those leaks sealed up why? So he can talk to Russia in privacy? Do his business dealings and go against the constitution without anyone knowing? You would think Republicans would want to have an ethical white house. I guess they were just concerned with getting a “Win”

I have worked in City government and have seen what happens when someone new takes over a unit, organization, etc., and gets rid of “the good old boy network” and puts his own stooges in. He quickly comes to realize (though doesn’t always admit) that most of the “good old boys” were there because they actually understood where the light switches were, how the copier worked, and so forth. Many of the “good old boys” were put back in their old positions and the offices then worked more efficiently.

Management 101…When getting hold of the management of a company, the first thing you do is reorganize everything. This shows how bright you are. Some of your underlings will admire you, and off you go..Sometimes you win, more often you lose….I have worked for many companies run by competent engineers, MBA’s came in, took over, and you know what….those companies do not exist any more.

RAGS and KURT.ZWICKY, the scenario kind of reminds me of what the “W” war machine did after it conquered Baghdad : dissolved the Sunni army. Then the dismissed Sunnis became ISIL.

There was some slippage in his approval according to Rasmussen two days ago, but now positive again

He is running the Whitehouse so badly that some in the Whitehouse are releasing information to show us what is going on wrong.

Trump’s native language is contradiction. He’s telling us these “revelations” are lies, but he’s also complaining that they’re “leaks”. How can they be “leaked” if they’re not really there?

He just spews a lot of words. Some of them are true, some of them are lie, and many of them contradict each other. His followers believe they know just which ones to believe and which ones are parables or puns or palindromes or something.

If you bottle enough stuff up, and press down on the container hard enough, leaks are pretty much inevitable.

The leaks from patriots within the White House are necessary to keep the people apprised of all the wrong doings in Trumps broken administration. Everyone should be grateful they have the cajones to do it.
