Reminds me of Al Capp’s comment about NYC mayor Lindsey who said he felt safe anywhere in the city. Capp said so would he if he traveled about with about 10 armed escorts.

As long as the walls of the tower hold, he’s safe from the outside.
As long as he needs nothing from the outside, he’s safe from the outside.
Most important, as long as he traps himself inside his tower/prison, the outside world is safe from him.
