I wonder what Tracy has in mind for the $1.25M, and why? For whom is he fishing? Does he hope to bring down Perenelle herself for running a big scam?

Perhaps one of the ground rules for the Auction was that the Perenelle would be donating the earnest money to a Worthy Charity — perhaps even the UN health organization the Spirit is representing (the name of which I am blanking on at the moment).

I could see Mister Am suggesting that as a prerequisite for letting her use his hotel for the event. Or perhaps she might have suggested it, in hopes that this would make Am better-disposed towards hosting it.

Then again, Am is a pretty easy-going guy much of the time; it might not matter.

Well, this is certainly scotching my (not very serious) theory that Brush would turn out to be Perenelle in disguise. But why didn’t Tracy unmask him?
