Knowing Russian is prerequisite to work in this White House.

And since Bannon is the Bormann in this scenario, then they should either get along famously or kill each other.

@RalphNewbill. Even a sociopathic malignant narcissist with ADHD as a president? You need to get out more.

Funny stuff. Very on the mark. We need GT more than ever. And for those who don’t, see ya. The nastiness we have seen in the Midwest for the past week has been influenced by the trump era. First, the St. Louis cemetery was heavily vandalized. The community came together to repair it. Then, at a kc suburban bar 3 men were shot while the gunman screamed get out of my country. A lot of money has been raised for those families, but we can’t bring back those people. And for what? This hatred must stop. I’m not talking about protests and comments but rather this is a different level. It starts at the top, unfortunately.

In terms of this strip, it is scary how well Duke, the young Duke, and the president for life fit into the story line as well as the real White House of today. Scary and funny at the same time.

Crush Georgia? He must have been with General Sherman. There was a leader.

The level of corruption in this administration is incredible. Using the President for Life fits in too well for today’s shenanigans. You know that if Obama had used the Russians to defeat Romney there would have been an outcry on a level that we certainly have not seen at this point. The GOP would have been calling for Obama’s head on a silver platter, as in the days of old in the Bible. At least Darrel Issa, a Republican, did call for an independent prosecutor on Friday night. Good for him.

Brilliant and hilarious. Talk about perfect fit! But as for Duke, I’m sure Bannon will find him another place in this badministration.

We also heard yesterday that trump will not attend the white house correspondents dinner this year. It will be the first time in 36 years that the potus will not attend. Reagan didn’t attend one time because he was shot and he still called it in. It seems trump is a little too scared to face the music.

The only thing worse than an aging progressive is privileged folk trying desperately to hold onto their “rights” to be on top

I’ve wondered more than once if Jon Stewart had kept his show through the election, and if Trudeau had returned to daily “Doonesbury” episodes during the primary and the general election seasons, if Trump would have won the Electoral College. (As we know, he lost the popular vote, and NO, it was not illegal alien voters that made the difference. Only imbeciles and lunatics could possibly believe that.) I think there’s at least a reasonable chance that they could have fired up enough of the voters who decided to sit out the election to have made the difference.

The top two panels with dialoglue from the White House were not included in the print copy in the Washington Post. Censored by the Fake President? Naa, probably just space reasons. And as GODFREYDANIEL noted, these times need Jon Stewart and daily Doonesbury. Wait, is the Fake Presidency a Doonesbury storyline?

The first two panels are always optional; you might notice they are a standalone joke, not necessary to the main joke’s punchline. Most print edition leave them out.
