At least Calvin knows how ferocious tigers are.

And there’s that troublesome problem of trying to make a Susie snowball without an opposable thumb. Snow cakes just don’t throw well.

Now you can pounce on Mom, Dad, Susie, Miss Wormwood. The world is yours to behold.

There was a story arc where Hobbes taught Calvin to be a tiger. Calvin put on red sleepers and pinned a knee sock on his rear, and then Hobbes painted stripes and whiskers on his face.

For those who may be interested, the term “transmog” was used in a Clifford Simak short story called, “Installment Plan,” the cover story in the February 1959 issue of Galaxy Science Fiction. A “transmog” was an interchangeable brain for a robot, giving the robot specialist skills.
