I always take a paper towel or toilet paper to open the door. I am SURE the door handle is NOT clean as there are people who do not wash their hands.
Paper towels are much more sanitary than air blowers.
The filthiest thing is the knob you use to turn on the water as everyone who has touched it has touched BEFORE they washed their hands. So using a paper towel to turn it off is a good idea.
