How much of that was run up under Obama – and how much before he took office. . . ? Conservidiots only want to show the end number, because it makes the slow and the stupid (their prime constituency) think the debt was ZERO before Obama. . . . . . . .

Yeah; it had nothing to do with an illegal war his predecessor started.

But Cheney says deficits don’t matter when Republicans are in power.

How’s those billionaire tax cuts working out? Anything trickling down on you yet from all those sacred “Job Creators”? Starving the beast means you have to stop feeding it, not just refuse to pay the food bills.

Not to worry. In a week, debt and deficit increases are a non-issue.

And?? The Republicans plan to add 10 Trillion to that by repealing the ACA. Don’t tell me Republicans care in the slightest about the national debt. It’s an out and out lie.

Yeah, Lisa the idiot cartoonist neglects the point that Congress passes the budget. The executive branch may propose the initial budget, but the final product is from Congress. And gee, who has had the majority in House and Senate the last few years?

You’re behind the times, Lisa. The Republicans voted a 10 trillion increase to the debt a few days ago. Try to keep up.

What L. Benson and the other RWNJs conveniently ignore is that the Federal governments’ spending increased less under President Obama than under President Bush the Younger. Government spending, when adjusted for inflation, has increased during his administration by <2%. Under G. W. Bush, the increases were 7.3% ( 1st term ) and 8.1% ( 2nd term ).

But such facts do not matter to those possessed by Obama Derangement Syndrome.

Funny how Clinton had a surplus, W trashed the economy and cut taxes ballooning annual deficits, and Obama gets blamed for the results. Obama reduced the deficit for 7 years and the GOP congress voted and passed those annual budgets.
