I saw Sean Spicer do his Goebbels impersonation today when talking about the inauguration turn out.

After today’s “press conference” Godwin’s law doesn’t apply to the Trump regime.

Wow! It’s like Garry drew this in response to Sean Spicer’s news conference today! How could he have known! ;)

@JACK IN A WHIRL: So, you were already wrong about the first day. Instead of building a wall along the southern border, he raised a wall to make it more difficult for his rust belt followers to afford mortgages.

    .

Did you understand that the reference to ‘Golden Calf’ in the original literature was about worship of actual idols, not ideas?

    .

When will you understand that calling a political opponent names does not attract new supporters to your particular cause?

A lot of people like to bash fox news for their reporting, but I found this article quite refreshing.

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/01/21/fact-check-trump-overstates-crowd-size-at-inaugural.html

Sean Spicer reminds me of man trying to impress a woman with his um.. shall we say largesse, by extending his pinky finger, grabbing the joint immediately behind the finger nail and pornouncing (sic) “That’s 6 inches”!

It does not bode well that the first thing the rump did was have the mention of climate change taken off the government website. I live in Canada, but what happens there does not stop at the borders. .Yes, I use a derogatory term for him because I have no respect for him.

They say lowest turnout ever but then again, he probably had more people than WH Harrison.

When Trump started out he had paid spectators there to shore up his image.

What is with the Trump insanity of lying about easily provable facts?

The man is a psycho moron.

Kudos to the Women’s March yesterday, which did have very large crowds!

Donnie continues to be very sensitive about size. It’s ok Don, your crowds were not that big, but they were thick.

So far Trump has punished the Parks Service for releasing the photo of the Mall that showed how few supporters (compared to Obama’s inauguration) showed up, driven up the cost of buying a house by crippling the FHA, and overriden the law via executive order to place his choice in his cabinet. And it’s only Sunday, folks.

It was interesting that trump’s first substantive act as potus was to screw many of the middle class who voted for him. He signed for increasing by about $500 a year the mortgages on many non-wealthy homeowners. Between that, and the fact that several million people will no longer have health insurance, many will be feeling pain very soon. We recently had a family member who had to have a CT scan. If they had not had insurance, the bill would have been $3500. They had insurance, so the bill was $300. Medical debt is terrible! It will add up fast! Many made a YUGE mistake in this election and will soon learn this.

It never fails to amaze me that the “family values” party finds it appropriate to not fund health care for all or to take advantage of the poor with acts like increasing the cost of home mortgages for struggling people, all while making it easier for the wealthy to avoid paying taxes. Y’know, like Jesus would do.

Trudeau is secretly delighted. Look at all the material he’s got for the next eight years (even if Trump is in for four or less).

In terms of crowd sizes, I hope Don also remembers that size doesn’t matter. It’s Ok, Don.

Poor fool. Just look at the footage of the parade – it was row after row of empty bleachers, and whatever his people say about plastic flooring and media exaggeration, there’s just no ignoring those huge gaps in the helicopter photos.Of course, he could be confusing all the protesters who showed up the next day with admirers. But someone ought to tell him more people came to the march than to watch him.

The Democratic Party and the GOP are entitled to organize their voting as they see fit. As such, whether or not they use super delegates or not is entirely up to them. There has been much talk among the GOP of adopting a similar set up to the Democratic Party in terms of super delegates, except they would be named something else, such as victory delegates.

Few Republicans know proper grammar. It is the Democratic Party, not the Democrat Party.

The cons call the Democratic Party the Democrat Party because they are jealous that the Democrats have different words for noun and adjective, while they have to use one. It’s also one of their alternative facts.
