Warming the car is not good but everyone does it anyway. Tradition. People tend to do things because that is the way they’ve always been done and that’s all there is to it.

Last winter we had a problem with our heater fan, it only worked occasionally, and I had a few brutal drives in to work
This year we had a relay switch replaced and it works fine
I dont dread driving in to work on the cold days now
