If I remember correctly, Zoey was one of the contenders for the name of the character that would eventually become Phoebe.

Oh, that’s original: a zebracorn. And Disney made for “Fantastia” a zebra centaur (at least I think it was Disney who came up with it).

Eh, that’s nothing, I’ve seen a cyborg Zebra Pegasus.

Correct. Back when the comic was being developed as “Girl”, Girl’s name changed to Emma Jane Metheny and then to Zoey.

Ha, I have also written stories about zebricorns.

I sense jealousy blowing in the wind.

Can’t unicorns teleport?

Strictly speaking, “unicorn” means “one horn.” There’s nothing in the word that says what kind of animal the horn should be attached to. So a zebra with a single horn would still be a unicorn.

And now I’m sure that I’ve incurred the wrath of Marigold and all unicornkind. :)

One should never fly beneath SOMEone’s expectations. Remember Unicorns Are Stupidheads…?
