Have you ever tried to talk after you’ve had Novocain shot in your mouth followed by the insertion of a saliva suction tube?

Just a gut feeling but I think she’s trying to tell you that it hasn’t, Doc.

Aren’t you supposed to poke around a little first, just to test? My dentist always does before he brings out the jackhammer.

I had a drafty dentist during the war who would have me come in 2 hours early for pre-med. He was a believer in the whipped cream surgery, and I would leave with pocket full of pills. I wonder why the Navy threw him out.

I believe all dentists over prescribe pain meds.

When I was a kid I never took Novocaine just had the dentist drill without it. Hurt a little while drilling then the pain went away. The louder I screamed the more he drilled. Wanted root canal without it as well but dentist said had to have shot.
