My guess is his redemption will include lining the gridiron before Milford football games and sweeping the bleachers afterwards. And, supporting Mrs. Peake through her AA journey.

Can’t Carl be redeemed somehow? Apologize publicly at the links and do 100 hours of community work.
Family counseling at the Thorps would be a step in the right direction. Then again the Thorps know nothing about keeping families together.
If the kids can be written out of the strip they can be written back in, but say good-by to deck duty.

Wow - Carl has been TOTALLY emasculated - from an arrogant bully to abused wimp in a day,
