    this obsessing over Trump is past boring. There must be something else going on in the world for this strip to feature. Like, celebrities who won’t perform in states where men can stalk women in bathrooms, but will perform in countries that execute homosexuals and mutilate their women.

    No one insults you without your permission. Insults and lying are proof of someone who is being controlled by ego deception.Listen to what Deepak Chopra says about our worst enemy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7xqpVnE3UUDonald and Hillary, as poarities of the same sickness, can’t get this until they take back their souls from their ego.

    Doesn’t Trudeau have anything better to do than write political satire in a comic strip intended for political satire?

    Cartoonists in general, seem to hate anyone that shows any sign of having a backbone.

    Been that way as long as I can remember.

    @avarner,

    Cartoonists don’t necessarily hate people with backbones.

    However, it seems the only backbone Der Trumper has going for him is his ability to “tell it like it is.”

    Well, I must say, my drunk uncle also “tells it like it is,” but I wouldn’t want him in the White House, either.

    As john Oliver noted, Drumpf has become like that mysterious mole on your back, it has grown bigger and uglier, and it is now impossible to ignore.

    Drumpf is a complete joke. He is not qualified to be prez in any sense of the word. To say that he is a better choice than Hillary is a completely ridiculous statement. Hillary Clinton is as qualified as anyone has ever been. The latest bizarre thing we have heard this week about Drumpf is that he had a pyramid scheme. Think about just that alone! Ever had a bunch of $ taken from you from a pyramid scheme? It is incredible to think that even a few people have fallen for Drumpf.

    As I recall, my vocabulary at that age was far more crude and repetitive than even Trump’s. Couldn’t use most of it around adults, though.

    In terms of the only person I would consider voting for other than Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, I don’t believe he is electable, despite the fact he has won many Democratic primaries/caucuses. It is one thing to win a Democratic primary, quite another to win a general election. Sanders has not been vetted the way that Hillary has. Also, there is that label of Socialist, which many Americans are not ready to swallow. There is no reason to drive ourselves off a cliff.

    Trump seems to be working directly from the Newt Gingrich lexicon. Newt provided a handout for House members of descriptive terms to use against their opponents in elections and on the House floor. Practically introduced “denigration politics” to America. Thanks Newt.

    “Scree” is talus (or, if you’re unsure about “talus,” the mass of small stones and gravel typically found at the base of a slope or cliff after being eroded from higher up)..A “screed,” on the other hand, is a polemic or contentious harangue, similar to a diatribe..But that’s OK; you still have a place in The Donald’s heart. He loves the poorly educated.
