I lived in Bellflower CA in 1980. My morning commute to and from my job in Long Beach was a wide open breeze because traffic was going the other way at those times of day. It was amazing. I’m semi retired but if I took a job in LA I’d move close as possible to work even if it meant living in a one bedroom shack! Stop and go traffic every workday would drive me insane.
