The GOP has become a modern version of the Know Nothing Party, (though the ethnic ‘threat’ today is not Irishmen, Poles, Italians and Jews, but Mexicans and anyone who is not a Fundamentalist of some sort.).The Know-Nothing Party, also called “The American Party,” was powerful during the 1840s and 1850s. It wanted to deport many categories of recent immigrants and strongly opposed the Catholic Church. The Seven-Day Adventists arose during the same era.

The term psychopath refers to our present republican controlled congress. We spend more on defense than the next 14 countries and we haven’t won a war since world war 2. You don’t have to be stupid to be a republican, but it helps.
