    A drop in the price of Fig Newtons is enough to “roller coaster” the market.

    That growth of corporations, and their profits during WW II was precisely a matter of GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS, which Ike observed and warned about as the “Military Industrial Complex”, that remains the prime beneficiary of government spending today. Corporations may not declare wars, but they certainly fund the polticians who do!

    Decisions in the Chinese market are based on superstition. There will be an inquiry as to the cause in massive selling. They will find that a fortune cookie factory inadvertently put the same fortune in a batch of fortune cookies: “The stock market will collapse”.
