It’s great getting 2 strips a day, you certainly do have a full time job as a cartoonist.I enjoyed the interview story on your website.

I think “alarm system” instead of “gun” in the first panel would have been more accurrate, given Claremont’s size. I don’t think he’d be much better than a pair of toenail clippers in a fight.

Thanks so much, Toonerific, that’s very kind. Roots, you’re right. Claremont’s always alarmed anyway. Might as well make use of that. And Happy, I may just have to break down and make Claremont shirts. Just for you. I’ve stayed away from T-shirts, but a kick in the pants is always appreciated.

I had a friend with a chubby, older basset hound that stood maybe 14 inches at the highest point. A guy broke into his apartment and the dog chased him through the apartment, up the stairs to the rooftop patio and across the patio. The neighbors saw the burglar jump from the roof to the roof of a neighbors garden shed to get away from the dog. Don’t sell the little ones short – hah, you see what I did there?

That’s awesome! Really, a barking dog is worth his weight in gold.
