Good one. Who among us hasn’t done this?

Yes, if you look closely in the third panel, you’ll see the Bluetooth headset on the dog tied to the tree. I’ve seen so many people lately in the supermarket jabbering away on their headsets asking whoever they’re talking to about what brand of canned tomatoes to buy that I wonder whether there’s anyone left who can shop by themselves.

That little ditty ‘suck’s out brainpower.

When I breiefly had a cell phone, I used a headset that was very visible so that if I was talking people could see that I was wired. I have since abandoned cell use.

I am housebound and I have others do my shopping. Often they call me while shopping to confirm brands, sizes, etc. I occasionally call them with last minute items that are not on my list. Very convenient.

Don’t we all remember that old folk song, “I had an old dog and his name was Bluetooth”? And who could forget Soupy Sales and his two puppet dogs, White Fang and Blue Tooth?

ML, what I meant was, answered someone who was talking on a phone that we hadn’t seen yet. I don’t own a Bluetooth, either.

My uncle had one of these. His keepers took it away when he told them there were voices in his head.

Barking up the wrong tree.

It’s like returning a wave - and then you realize the waver was waving at someone else.

When we go out walking, we sometimes play the game “Bluetooth, or paranoid schizophrenic?” It’s often hard to tell even when you can see the hardware.
