I thought the last couple of ‘toons were inane and I didn’t bother to comment; but this one takes the biscuit.

What on earth is it meant to convey? The US already undertakes 80% of the air sorties against IS. Ramirez wants US troops’ boots on the ground against them, too, I take it? Anything less means your president is callous? What it does tell me Ramirez is seriously unhinged himself. And incredibly callous.

Ramirez is playing right into the ISIS strategy. They want to incite the American public an push them into invading again. Once we invade, they will have the Muslim world rushing to volunteer to fight off the western hoards.

As I recall, Ramirez became equally outraged when Obama DID choose to act against Libya some years ago.Wonder what happened to make him ( and the rest of the Tea-Party right ) change their minds like that.

This toon is just pain dumb. What’s so infuriating is that there’s no “winning” anything with the Islamic idiots of the IS. They want to draw the US into their fantasy nightmare, and we are too stupid to resist. Jeez, talk about willful blindness on our part.

Neither you nor Mr. Rmirez have any knowledge of when the President actually made that video, just when Buzzfeed decided to release it, so you can’t honestly make the correlation. But Ramirez can’t pass up any chance to bash the president….even if it is in very bad taste and makes him look bad as well.

The office of the US President has become the mancave of an immature, vindictive, petulant, self absorbed man taking selfies with a selfie stick and fawning over people who eat cereal out of a bath tub. His college education is really showing off here. If any Republican President did these things the left would be as unhinged as they appear to be over this comic.-Another tough week falsely bashing companies that create jobs and off to Palm Springs. Hmmm, what is there to do in Palm Springs in February???

Oh Em Gee, the President did something — anything — on a day when bad news was announced. Surely, he could have reserve the 353 such days for solemn self-punishment, and live like a normal person on the remaining days.

Remember Bush’s hilarious video of his dog searching for WMDs? — while soldiers were dying in Iraq?

A Very offensive cartoon. I wonder what the pilot’s family would think. Did he have family in America that might come across this. That might not matter nowadays, I’m sure someone will get a copy to them by e-mail or in some other manner.Truly showing a race to the bottom.

President Obama has a history of insensitive behavior, fund raising during the Benghazi attack, golfing after a beheading, allowing race baiter Al Sharpton unlimited access to the White House are just a few instances.

There is zero correlation between the two events no matter how you whitewash it.…and it is you and Ramirez who are despicable for trying to tie the events together,

You do realize that no one forces you to read Mr. Ramirez’s cartoon? .If people stop reading it, then he either changes or it goes away. That’s how the marketplace of ideas works. Interesting that your reaction is to call for a ban.

Again, Ramirez ignores that US forces continue to hunt for and eliminate terrorist leaders in Africa and the Middle East.

I’m among the firmest of believers in freedom of speech, it doesn’t mean cowards, liars, and crazies won’t abuse it, whether politicians, supposed reporters, cartoonists, or anonymous folks who attack those with higher intelligence, and integrity, and even biting (on occasion) humor.

While abuse of that right, and privilege is represented in this cartoon at it’s most base level, such cowardice and vile intent, doesn’t represent treason, just a hatred for everything this nation is supposed to believe in.

If you don’t like his comics, why are you reading and commenting on them? Such is the world of a “free speech” leftist, constantly wanting to silence those who disagree with them.

What will folks say when Ramirez illustrates the true narcissist and ego driven; with “W” and Cheney doing their joint selfie, sitting atop the bodies of the hundred thousand or so dead women and children they’ve killied in Afghanistan and Iraq, not go mention those boots from the 4,000 plus American troops. The all died so Bush and Cheney’s friends could live; very, very, well, off the profit from their deaths.

Great cartoon, Michael. Good job pointing out that Obama is a child – a silly, spoiled, petulant, effete child, utterly clueless about his own self-inflicted irrelevance.

Yes Fish Dog, I was indeed keeping to the LOWEST confirmed figures, not the at least 200,000 up to 300,000 most sources confirm.

Libya btw is trying to resolve which “government” actually runs the country, whether out of Tripoli, or Tobruk, the UN backs the folks in Tobruk, so of course you’d oppose them?

Morty…said: “Mr. Ramirez, I’ve seen a lot of tasteless crap coming from you over the years, but this really beats it. I will contact GoComics, in writing, to have you removed.”

I second that even though I will defend to my death your ‘right’ to publish your twisted-cartoon-written satire. What you have done is the equivalent of yelling “Fire” in a crowded theater. As such I can only hope and pray the GoComics has the courage and fortitude to withdraw and band you from their theater.

I think it shows an interesting dichotomy between the world as it actually is, and the world as the ruling elite (and I use the word loosely, perhaps de facto ruling class would be better) choose to see it. Good work MR.
