As for the “evil rich”; do their eyes ever see what Kayla, Mother Teresa, ebola volunteers, and other “givers” see?(Certainly not if one has high, secure, monitored gates at the driveway entrance.)
Nice tribute Mr. Benson. I’ve known many who served the world as she did, through peace, not war, not hatred, not the cowardice of letting, or making, others take the risk of making a better world.
Seeing the eyes of those whose lives you’ve taken, and also those of those whose lives you’ve saved, gives one true perspective on humanity. It is saving lives that makes people worthy of claiming their own “humanity”.
