That is so realistic. Anyone who has cared for the elderly can identify with this one easily.

I think this is going to be like when Snuffleupagus first showed up on Sesame Street and everyone thought Big Bird was imagining him. The birds are real, but fly off when anyone but Walt is around.

It’s also like the Twilight Zone episode when William Shatner saw a gremlin on the wing of the airplane but it would fly away every time he tried to show anyone else.

Well, he is 105. This could Alzheimer’s or some form of dementia appearing. Old folks start imagining things that aren’t there and, at 105, it’s no wonder.

Shatner was the one on the plane in the original Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone TV series in the early 1960’s. It was one of Shatner’s first parts; years before the original Star Trek (1966).

There is a superstition that if a bird enters your house, someone will die.

Some cultures believe that birds are the souls of the dead.

    Maybe his time has come?

According to a strip from 1986 and another from 2001, Walt was born in 1898, making him 22 or 23 when Skeezix was left on his doorstep and 112 this year.

Joe Jam4, put your other pair of reading glasses on. I think you were looking at the hanging plant.
