June: I don't have time to empty the dishwasher. Ralph always complains that he never knows if the dishes inside are clean. So I'll put a note on it to eliminate any confusion! Ralph: "clean" as in, these dishes are clean, or "clean" as in, clean these dishes??

If a quick inspection of the contents doesn’t tell you, you need a new dishwasher!

Where could she be going not to have time to put the dishes away? Did she really think her husband was intelligent enough to understand a single word she writes?

My problem is my wife cleans them before loading them so they all “look” clean. sighs.

If she wants you to clean them, and you assume they’re clean and put them away, possible food poisoning the next time you eat.
If she means they’re clean, and you assume she wants you to clean them, you just waste some hot water.
I say run the machine.

Have a looped piece of yarn that I put on the handle that means the dishes are clean. Both hubby knew and now my brother knows exactly what it means.
