I can see having somewhat of a psychic connection with a baby sister, maybe even a dog or cat. A fish though is where I draw the line. (Then again I no longer have a child’s imagination)
Also maybe Maria can talk her parents into getting a small aquarium; it would be much better for the fish, cleaner living environment , oxygen, maybe a friend or two.
