Churchie: good point, and how about those laser and radar speeding tickets that bring in huge revenues, while officers are nailing someone for barely exceeding the speed limit, when in actuality, less than 5% of accidents actually occur on limited access highways and are caused by “speeders”. 95% of fatal accidents occur on surface streets, result from failure to yield, and occur UNDER 35 mph, instead of catching the guy with a gun in your face.
Interesting that some of the “military equipment”, is car doors! While I don’t like the distribution of basically no value to “law enforcement” armored vehicles, some of the equipment does make sense, and some is, well ludicrous??
