I do sort of remember why Chelle didn’t really want to call Yvonne…cos long ago, Jill and Chelle were working together as cops…somehow Yvonne, also a cop, came into it and she and Jill had an affair.And when Chelle figured it out, she left Jill…and it all had something to do with capturing Sandra and that Nevada conspiracy…but even back then, I think, the story was full of flashbacks, and I’d only been reading it a couple of years….So I was a bit lost.So now I just go along for the ride…. occasionally sticking my head above water and thinking…. “oh yeah… I know where we’re going…. sorta…”
Meanwhile Jane has made little progress in hiding somewhere since it is dark enough to know that lights were on in the trailer. She moves slower than this story line.
