This indeed has reached the absurd, well from the beginning. All I can hear from my nation is the clucking from the hen houses. How did this happen to our national spine? Right, the chickenhawks ate ’em…
^Warjoski: My Uncle and Father-in-Law fought in the Battle of the Bulge (and were both wounded). My dad was 4-F, but did “his bit” on the home front. I was in Viet Nam, My son in Iraq and elsewhere, fighting for this nation Friends served in the Peace Corps and risked their lives overseas to promote and protect this nation in “other ways”.
The average American today seems to think just reading about Ebola, or Iraq, on their cell phones, while with Cheney in a secure, undisclosed location, is “courage”.
We who served, whether in war or elsewhere, are discouraged, and disgusted, by all the fear in this country, especially from those most ready to reject people in need, while letting someone else fight their literal wars for them.
^My statement had nothing to do with politics, it had to do with acceptable levels of ignorance, and the rejection of true courage to stand up for humanity, and true morality, with courage, in our current self-centered society.

Chicken hawks? Probably Crows. Lots of cawing and no moral fiber.

Look at it this way, would YOU want to “cavity search” an Ebola victim?
