Once again, so far, this isn’t in the list of works, by this artist, in Mr. Melcher’s blog. A slightly-different-coloration, maybe-click-to-enlarge image can be found here.Portrait of State Council members Nikolai Gerard and Ivan Goremykin (1st and 3rd links show Wikipedia pages, 2nd shows Google translated Russian Wikipedia page) isn’t, as far as I can tell, shown online by its current-location.More about Goremykin can be found here. A different coloration, click-to-enlarge image can be found here (reverses names, currently). The artist’s Wikipedia page (Google translated Russian Wikipedia page has more) and collection (more under Subcategories at each level).Fifth work, by this artist, to appear here, 3 of which (list link above) are, so far, also in Mr. Melcher’s blog.
Sometimes the hall monitors get so wrapped up in looking for “innuendos” and PC comments that they delete stuff that wouldn’t raaise a PREpubescent eyebrow while allowing stuff that would make a degenerate longshoreman blush on far more “family oriented” strips pass. You should know- you’ve been through the mill before with them. “Pibgorn” continues, “Frog Applause” and the wonderful Teresa’s Blog are for all us practical porpoises gone, wit and originality in comics have passed. Woe to the world when the PC editors arrive.
GoComics was weird in general yesterday. I was trying to look at the last Connie To the Wonnie and kept getting a 404, or being told to sign in when I already was. They’re back to what passes for normal today.
