    And thus were born pocket protectors! Remember the days of leaky ball point pens? Himself hardly had a shirt that didn’t have the telltale blue stain. Fountain pens? Good grief, Earl, where did you find that relic?

    They STILL make pens that leak. And somehow those are the ones I always buy. The thing that I absolutely LOATHE is when I write something and then discover my fingers are ink-stained. x@#$%!
